Spread across three skiable peaks, each with a personality all their own, each mountain is easily accessible from the village, so ski all three peaks in the same day or stick to the mountain area that you love the most. Sun Peaks receives 6+ metres of snow annually and is blessed with some of the fluffiest, dry powder conditions that the Interior of BC is famous for.
There are countless weekly and special events, and things to do both on and off the slopes at Sun Peaks. Experience a thrilling dog sled ride or snowmobiling, a gentle horse drawn sleigh ride, go ice-skating, snowshoeing and fat biking and even snow biking, learn to ice fish with a local guide, go on the bungee trampoline or glide down the hill on a tube with family and friends. All the amenities are located within walking distance of accommodation.
From sushi to schnitzel, bison burgers to grilled salmon, and homemade fudge to fresh baked goods—your taste buds will be pleasantly surprised at every turn with plenty of restaurants, charming cafés and après ski destinations.
Browse boutique shops and outlet stores (including Burton and North Face) where you’ll find clothing, apparel, locally crafted jewelry, souvenirs and mementos, local artwork and even something for the kids and your four-legged friend. Pamper yourself at the spa, stock up on groceries at a well-equipped supermarket, and peruse a huge selection of regional beer and wine.
